Pakistan has been ranked 7th out of 145 countries in the annual Global Firepower review for 2023. The country holds a Power Index score of 0.1694, putting it in the top 10 world powers according to GFP's assessment.

The ranking takes into account over 60 individual factors, including military units, financial standing, logistical capabilities, and geography. The United States, Russia, and China took the top three spots, while India and the UK rounded out the top five.

GFP's unique formula allows smaller, technologically advanced nations like South Korea and Pakistan to compete with larger, lesser-developed powers.
