Planes stolen by Russia are breaking down! 🇷🇺

Russia stole these planes, but they need maintenance, badly! Russia’s aviation industry is struggling to keep up with sanctions imposed over Ukraine, and the consequences are dire. With a record number of accidents hitting Russian civilian planes, passengers are facing the very real risk of tragedy every time they board a flight.

Only recently an Azur Air Boeing 767 taking off from Thailand’s Phuket airport saw it’s right engine burst into flames, which caused panic among passengers on the full plane. Only weeks later a Boeing 737 belonging to Russia’s Rossiya Airlines made an emergency landing on a domestic flight after cabin depressurization.

The problems are mainly due to the inability of Russian airlines to purchase essential parts and equipment from the West, after Russia decided to not return leased planes when asked, basically stealing them.

Passengers are understandably worried about the safety of their flights, and industry experts warn that serious accidents are only a matter of time.
