2 Weeks of Free Admission Adventures on the Big Island of Hawaii #bigisland #hawaii

In this video, my family and I go on 5 amazing, free admission adventures on the big island of Hawaii. First, mom and I hike to a secret spot known by the locals as "Narnia" for a hike-and-dive adventure in natural riverbed pools. We then travel by Jeep with my stepdad Tim and Uncle Steve to the "Green Sand Beach". Accessible by 4x4, ATV, bike, or on foot, this secluded beach gave us some amazing views and great swimming. Next, my Mom and I rode bicycles to a Black Sand Beach formed by the 2018 Puna Lava Flow. More adventuring led to Coconut Island for some diving, swimming and fishing. And on our final adventure of the video, Mom and I did a trail run over the lava and through the mud to Shipman Beach, which can only be reached on foot via the Puna Historic Trail.

I highly recommend anyone traveling to the Big Island of Hawaii check out any of these amazing places for some fun adventures of your own.

PLEASE NOTE: I intentionally omitted directions for each of these locations. Some of them are hard to find and secluded. If everyone knew how to find them easily, they would become overly crowded and thus, lose their appeal. Remember, finding secret spots is part of the adventure! Don't be lazy!
