These are great little 12v lights. I have used them to provide downlighting in my soffits.
Using a 12v LED transformer (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073QTNF9F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and some 14 guage landscape wire in the soffits this provides nice soft lighting around the house using very little electricity.
