Lovely, dying Ireland: A beautiful version of The Wind that Shakes the Barley (Loreena McKennitt)

In a fit of insanity, many modern Irish have betrayed everything their ancestors cared about and fought for. As if in a mad, panic-stricken dash to escape the inevitability of life and history and responsibility, they have let go of everything and taken up nothing. Today we cry for Eire, for She is dying. "Will someone find the will to do something before this green turns black with death?" the call sounds -- and there is no reply. For almost all of those that could have answered it, are busy; they are watching Netflix! This amazing little video was made by a YT user called "Kace 50" back in 2015. It is still well worth watching. We never forgot it -- but then we always loved Eire.
