MuchDank. This collective – at least, we think it’s a collective -- edits celebrity hip-hop moments and interviews into pop-culture perfect consumable memes. With over 1 Million fans and almost 295 Million total views on YouTube, MuchDank is exploding across social media right now. Part of their appeal is in getting people to believe they’re someone they aren’t. Sure, there have been the rumors in the deepest, darkest corners of the internet that this group really is Ainsley Harriott, while others argue that they’re up and coming YouTube musician Aries... but their true identity remains totally and wholly concealed from the public eye. So, while we don’t know who MuchDank are, today I thought I’d share the story of how their channel came to be.
