The Catalyst Of A Crisis

God-ordained leaders are sometimes hidden until a crisis arises. Young David had already been anointed as the next king of Israel, but the timing for his ascent to the throne was years away. In fact, nobody even considered David a leader except for God. As David waited for the Lord’s timing, God allowed a crisis to arise in Israel in the form of a giant named Goliath. From within this frightful event, David began to be elevated by God in the eyes of the people whom he would eventually lead. From this account, we learn the requirement of waiting on God’s timing. We also witness the truth in acton that teaches us that a crisis does not make or break a person - it merely reveals what we already are on the inside.
