As a leader, culture drives your ability to plan and execute change effectively. It is not what you say culture is as much as what your people are experiencing that matters.

You can talk all you want about culture, but if your walk does not align with what you are saying it will not matter. Your actual culture is going to show up no matter what you publish, so make sure you are out amongst your people, observing the culture. Make notes on what you see versus what you say. Something as important as culture deserves your time.
