Before MF DOOM would become a pioneer of underground hip hop and would be recognized globally for his iconic Dr. Doom inspired face mask. Before MF DOOM went by the monikers Zev Love X, King Geedorah, King Ghidra, Viktor Vaughn, Metal Fingers, DOOM, Metal Face, or “Super Villain”.
Before MF DOOM would pass away at the age of 49. The way 2020 had went - was wrong in many ways, that has been happening in the world hasn’t been a major surprise. It’s been injury after injury AND THEN to add insult to injury…was this…Doomsday. The year delivered one final blow to hip-hop fans when the wife of MF Doom, Jasmine Dumile, posted online on December 31 to share the news that her husband had “transitioned” two months prior on October 31, 2020. No further details were given. RIP MF DOOM.
