Koh Nang Yuan Island - One Of The Most Scenic Places In Thailand - Day Trip From Koh Tao 2023

Koh Nang Yuan is a unique tropical island in southern Thailand and one of the best day trips to be had from the nearby Koh Tao Island.

While the beaches in Koh Tao are simply stunning, I can’t deny that Koh Nang Yuan takes it to the next level.

Experience the ultimate serenity and tranquillity on Nang Yuan Island, where you’ll find beautiful beaches, panoramic viewpoints, and some of Thailand’s best snorkeling/ diving sites.

Koh Nang Yuan is only accessible by boat. The boat trip to the island from Koh Tao takes about 15 minutes. The water taxi costs about 250 to 300 Baht per person.

Nany Yuan Island is open 7 days a week from 10 am to 5 pm and there is a hotel on the island if you want to stay there.

There is a 250 Baht entry fee per person (50 Baht for Thais) to visit and you must leave at no later than 5 pm unless you are staying at the Nangyuan Island Dive Resort.

The best adventure to be had on the island is hiking to the famous viewpoint that overlooks the entire region.

The island is very popular, so you can expect lots of tourists on the island. Regardless of the number of people, you can still have a fantastic time swimming at the unique sandbar and hiking to the famous Koh Nang Yuan Viewpoint.
