TIME TO WEED OUT THE SINS OF OUR HEART

How does knowing your sins are offenses against God change your view about repentance?

I know for me, I view my sins as yes, an offence against God, and that I need to admit when I do sin. However, I also know that when I do confess my sins to the Lord, seek His forgiveness, and turn away from the sins that I have been committing, God truly does forgive, but best of all, He also forgets. In other words, my friends, God never brings up our past mistakes. I believe that the issue of repentance, has been rather distorted, and it needs to be brought back to the simple terms. That's why I'd like to share some things that God put on my heart, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray and what I share with you, will not only motivate you to examine your heart every day, but to be willing to admit/confess and repent your sins to God, and allow him to help you till and cultivate the soil of your heart, by rooting out and killing the weeds of sin that are in it. So, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I ask this final question of all of you, and I pray that you can answer it to God honestly.

What sins have taken root and need to be weeded out of your life?

I urge every brother and sister in Christ who is reading this, that if you have committed and/or are struggling with any sin, bring it to Jesus and confess it to Him!! Repent of it and turn to God for help in resisting the temptation to continue in this sin. Ask God every day to help you uproot the sins that are in your life, so that you can grow closer to God and others. All you need to do, is admit your sin, confess it, and repent of it. He promises that when we do this, that He will not only cleanse us of our unrighteousness, (I John 1:9), but will never, ever remember our sins (Hebrew 10:17)! I urge you today my friends, to come before the Lord, and allow Him to cleanse you of all your sinful messes, and bring you the restoration and redemption you so badly need. If you know Christ and you've strayed from Him, don't be afraid to come back to Him. He’s ready and willing to forgive and restore you, and will never cast you aside. If you don't know Christ my friend, now's the time to accept him as savior today, so don't put it off!
