Bread and circus

Association Football (Soccer) is one of the biggest charades there is.
Most sports are these days, but it's a new level of hypocrisy when people pay large sums every year and spend their time watching over-payed athletes taking a knee on the pitch.
These sports are meant to distract everyone from the issues we have and to keep them somewhat "happy".
