MINUTE PRAYER MIRACLE | Saint Jude: Patron of Hope

Jude Thaddeus, often known as Saint Jude, was one of Jesus' twelve apostles. Because of his intercession for individuals who are experiencing adversity, he is frequently referred to as the "patron saint of lost causes" or the "patron saint of dire situations".

Christian legend has it that Saint Jude visited the Mediterranean region spreading the gospel and working miracles. One of the New Testament's writings, the Epistle of Jude, is credited to him as its author. The circumstances of his death are unclear, however he is also alleged to have been a martyr for his beliefs.

The Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church, and other Christian groups all hold Saint Jude in high regard. In the Western Church, his feast day is observed on October 28; in the Eastern Church, it is June 19. Saint Jude is a popular intercessor who receives lots of prayers from those who need assistance in trying circumstances.
