Random Recombination and the Evolution of Drug Resistance
1 year ago
13
Recombination is thought to significantly affect the evolution of drug resistance. This video presentation shows how to do the mathematics of random recombination and when it affects the adaptive process. This mathematics shows that recombination has little effect on the evolution of drug resistance when selection pressures are used properly.
