Created by Teen Wolf's Jeff Davis, Gellar co-stars as arson investigator Kristin Ramsey. While season 2 has yet to be confirmed, the season 1 finale features a major cliffhanger. Kristin's true identity is revealed to be the mother of wolves Harlan (Tyler Lawrence Gray), Luna (Chloe Rose Robertson), and Baron (Chase Liefeld). Sitting down with TVLine , Gellar explains how Wolf Pack season 2 could address the finale's big twist. As Gellar admits, Kristin had to make sacrifices in order to protect her cubs, and while her intentions were pure, she made some mistakes along the way. Check out Gellar's quote below: "That’s an interesting question. She’s fiercely protective of her cubs, and I think she did what she thought was right at the time. Sometimes loving someone means making sacrifices to protect them, like finding her cubs a home where she knew they’d be safe. I don’t think she knew Baron was alive until much later, but we’ll hopefully learn more in Season 2.
"Right, she’s caught between the two. And she’s losing some of those animal instincts as she becomes more human. That’s actually happening to a lot of animals in the wild right now — as they’re becoming more and more extinct, they’re losing their inner predator. There are definite changes in the animal kingdom based on what’s happening in the environment." What Wolf Pack Season 2 Could Be About As Wolf Pack's season 1, episode 5 revealed, Kristin is not an arson investigator, but rather a werewolf who set the exact fires she's pretended to investigate. It's clear she's willing to do everything in her power to protect her pack, including murdering others. Wolf Pack season 2 will need to explore Kristin's motives in order to redeem her character, as she is not the typical anti-hero. Kristin sometimes does bad things, but her actions come from a good place. However, as Baron's mom, season 2 will likely continue to investigate why she wants to protect him despite his villainous nature, and perhaps how he became evil. Wolf Pack season 2 will also need to address Everett and Blake's powers, as they discovered they are directly tied to Baron’s. Everett's strength and Blake's speed draw from Baron, and, as Baron fades and grows weaker, so do their powers. As Blake at one point is willing to sacrifice herself to end Baron's reign of terror, Kristin explains that this is not the only solution. As she reveals, the only way is to form a pack, and he will be human again. However, that's if Garrett (Rodrigo Santoro), Harlan and Luna's adoptive father, agrees to join them. Wolf Pack concludes with Kristin explaining to Garrett why he would be perfect to join their pack, though he is reluctant to do so. He has the opportunity to make Harlan and Luna's lives better if he joins them, though that doesn't erase the difficulties of the situation. If Wolf Pack season 2 happens, it will likely pick up with Garrett grappling with the life-altering decision. However, with Baron close by, he might not have much time.
