The Chelsea Community Pays Tribute to Christian Atsu at His State Funeral, Chelsea News Today #cfc

On Friday, Ghanaians came together outside the parliament building in Accra for the state funeral of the former Chelsea winger Christian Achu, a winger who tragically lost his life during the earthquake that occurred in southern Turkey last month.

Achu had been reported missing, following the collapse of an apartment building in Hatai on February 6th. His body was later discovered under the rubble and returned to Ghana. He was only 31 years old.

Mourners paid their respects as they walked past Achu's coffin, which was draped in the national flag of Ghana. Among those present were family members, fans, and individuals who had benefited from his philanthropic endeavors. Achu was known for his charitable donations and was remembered as much more than just a football player.
