Retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Larry Brock, who flew combat missions in Afghanistan, was sentenced today to 2 years in prison by Judge John D. Bates.
Brock was convicted of all charges in a bench trial.
Many believe that the polarization of these cases is causing judges to issue far harsher sentences than normal. Many believe that these cases should result in probation and no jail time.
