BREAKING NEWS: 7 deputies now charged in death of
7 deputies have now been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Irvo Otieno. This brings the number of charged individuals up to 10.
The seven deputies charged are: Randy Boyer, Dwayne Bramble, Jermaine Branch, Bradley Disse, Tabitha Levere, Brandon Rodgers, and Kaiyell Sanders.
The three hospital employees are: Darian Blackwell, Wavie Jones, and Sadarius Williams.
Irvo Otieno died March 6, 2023 while in the intake process of a state mental health facility.
This situation has many similarities with George Floyd's death in custody in May of 2020, however, this situation is receiving far less media coverage.
