Irish Brigade of the Civil War aka "Fighting Irish" Fenians/69th Volunteers/Republicans

Known as some of the Civil War's toughest fighters. The 69th were Union Soldiers from New York. A battle song was also written in their honor. "Fighting Irish" was a name given to the Irish by General Lee.
