This DIY stem bag is a great MYOG (make your own gear) project for someone who is either looking to use up some scrap material, or a beginner, looking for a relatively simple first sewing project. Stem bags (also known as feed bags) are frequently used as bikepacking gear. I chose to sew my stem bag out of cork fabric (sometimes referred to as cork leather) in part because I had scraps left over from another sewing project, and in part because I really like the way it looks. I hope you enjoy this MYOG bikepacking project!
