I discuss in the first chapter of my book (Can You Please Talk To My Trauma) what I learned from the rich and famous people I had relationships with. I quickly learned that they weren't happy and why this was the case.
The ego makes us feel like whatever we achieve isn't enough. The present spiritual moment is enough, where true happiness resides. How do we get more of that.
The joy really is in the journey. The destination is not the happiness.
