Ryan Graves is a former Navy F/A-18F pilot and T-45C Goshawk instructor pilot. While in VFA-11 The Red Rippers, Ryan deployed aboard the USS Enterprise in 2012 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (CVN-65) and again in 2015 aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) in support of Operation Inherent Resolve over Iraq & Syria. While flying, Ryan received specialized training in JTAC/FAC(A) (Forward Air Controller (Airborne)), Combat Search and Rescue as a Rescue Mission Commander (RMC), Head Landing Signals Officer (LSO), Navy NATOPS/ORM/CRM Check Instructor (F18 +T45), & Naval Aviation Safety School graduate.

In 2019, Ryan left the Navy to join FAST Labs, an advanced R&D center of excellence within BAE Systems' Electronics Sector. Ryan led teams of technical SMEs to win and execute contracts such as DARPA Air Combat Evolution TA-1, Air Force's Skyborg program, and other classified projects.

In 2020, Ryan left BAE Systems to help start Quantum Generative Materials (GenMat), a vertically integrated material science company using ML/AI to reliably predict the atomic structure of material through the algorithmic manipulation of matter.

Graves is currently the CEO and Founder of Merged Point and Host of the Merged Podcast. Merged is a radically open-minded exploration of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) through the lens of pilots, scientists, and innovators.

Ryan volunteers his time in service of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, where he serves as the first Chair of the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Integration & Outreach Committee (UAPIOC).
