UV light for Aquaponics- (hybrid aquaponics system)

In this video I show you the UV light I used on my aquaponics system. It was only temporary since my water was very green. I also put the UV light in the Hope's of killing some of the ich my fish got. I took the fish out so it can kill what is floating around. But not sure if it helps with that. It helped clear it up. But I took it of after and covered the tanks so that sunlight was limited.
The UV light not only kills the algae but a lot of other beneficial bacteria as well.
