Quarantining new fish for my aquaponics system (Adding 85 bluegill to my aquaponics system)

In this video I add some more bluegill into my aquaponics system. For the past few times I have done this, the new fish I always added got this white fungus looking thing and died. (Still don't know what it was)
What I do differently is that this time I actually take my own advice (which I mentioned in a previous video of adding fish) and quarantine the fish before adding them into my system.

The ideal time to quarantine fish is anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.
It is also good to give them a salt bath or add a lower concentration of salt to the quarantine tank. This helps get rid of any bacteria and disease present on the new fish. I forgot to add salt this time but it is a good practice to do, which I will definitely try and remember for the next time.

I got the fish from a local fish hatchery (4 to 5hr round trip)
They have other fish as well like large mouth bass, rainbow trout, catfish, and etc. It is nice to meet the people you get your fish from. Because you can learn a lot from just talking to them and asking questions.

There are also places to get them online just do your research and you should find someone.
I did order fish once online but they were pretty small and have a higher risk factor. You can get bigger ones but they are more costly. Just have to see what is best for you.
