Aquaponic system Renovation part 18- GIANT tank window installation (part 2)

There are two parts to this video, this is part two. In the two videos I will basically go through how I installed the window on my giant 550 gallon aquaponic fish tank. It is an extra cost and a bit pricey for the window but I thought it would be cool to have. And without the window it would be hard for people to see inside the giant tank.

Tools needed for installing the window:
1) The window kit and all the nuts and bolts.
2) Screw driver
3) Drill
4) Wrench (I used a 7/16 wrench)
5) Drill bits (1/4 inch and 7/32 bit)
6) Hole saw (I used a 1 3/4 inch hole saw)
5) Level
6) Knife
7) Sand paper (i used 240 grit)
8) File
9) Jigsaw
10) Pencil or Marker
11) Vacuum cleaner (for cleaning up plastic particles)
12) Paper towel
13) Rubbing alcohol and water

Directions on how to install the window:

(Preparing the window for installation)
15) Clean the window if needed
16) Apply the gasket to the poly carbonate sheet. The gaskets were given with the kit. (these are what help make the water tight seal instead of using silicon). Do this slowly and start with one and move around the sheet.
17) Flip the window over and use the 7/32 drill bit to drill holes through the applied gasket/ rubber seal thing.
18) Flip the window over again and push down on the spots were you drilled the holes. Also remove any unneeded pieces of the gasket that are still attached after drilling the holes.

(Time to attach the window to the tank)
Either get help with this part or if your tank is small enough so that you can reach inside of it you can do it your self.
19) This will be similar to how it was done when you drilled the holes. The difference now is that you will be putting the bolts through with the washers that have gaskets on them.
20) Start at the top center and put the first bolt, washer, and nut. (each of them will have two washers). Don't tighten all the way yet.
21) Do the same on the bottom hole right below the top one you just did.
22) Now go from the center outwards adding one bolt at a time.
23) After adding all the bolts go back and tighten all of them until the washers become flat against either the tank or the window sheet itself. (DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN)
24) Now fill with water and make sure it does not leak. If it leaks just try tightening the bolts in that area a little more.

There is no wait time needed after installing the window, like if you were to use silicon. You can fill the tank as soon as you are done installing the window.
