Aquaponic radial flow filter - How an aquaponic radial flow filter works

In this video I show you a radial flow filter that I have set up in my aquaponic system. I am using a conical tank for the radial flow filter.
An important detail revolves around the speed of the water. Flow rate is very important when it comes to gravity feed settling filters like a radial flow filter. If the water is to fast than solids won't settle at the bottom of the tank.
