Goldberg Retires at WM39 | WWE 2K23

Goldberg returns one last time for a retirement match at Wrestlemania 39. Goldberg's opponent is the 08 version of Kane. The game roster didn't really have any other opponents for Goldberg that would make any kind of storyline sense in real life, unless he has a rematch with someone who had defeated him during his recent run. IRL the opponents that had defeated will already have matches at WM39 besides The Undertaker which is retired. As always with wrestling never say never, oftentimes wrestlers retire only to come back many times for one more match. IRL Goldberg has said he feels WWE owes him a retirement match after he had fulfilled his contract including the Saudi shows. If WWE doesn't offer Goldberg a match at WM39 he said he has other options for a retirement match elsewhere.
