Bob Chiaradio addresses the Rhode Island House Judiciary Committee on Democrat Rep. Morales’ bill H6066. The bill would allow pornographic or any other age inappropriate materials to be displayed or offered in any public library, including schools or museum. Although not explicitly stated, the bill could include drag shows.

The bill offered legal protection of any employee in a library or museum or possibly a school setting if it’s considered a job requirement. It might be considered ‘compelled speech’ contrary to one’s belief system.

It should be duly noted that Bob Chiaradio has long challenged pornographic materials in the Westerly public school system for almost two years and is considered well versed with all related materials in their libraries and classrooms.

Democrat Rep. Matthew Dawson challenges Mr. Chiaradio’s opposition to the bill even though he freely admits his ignorance of the materials discussed. Democrat Rep. Dawson promises that he will read the materials in question as he’s not read the book(s) in question. This is typical of progressive legislators to seal clap without knowing the subject at hand.
