Three Baby Bald Eagles and their Mom in an urban Minnesota metro area nest. Nature in 4K

It is amazing how far the Bald Eagle population has recovered from almost being extinct. This video was filmed in the Twin Cities metro area, not far from the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport (MSP). We have been watching this nest for a few years and love to see them raise a new brood of eaglets each year. This season they had three babies, all of them are visable at some point during this video. It was a beautiful spring day. A pretty strong wind was blowing down the Mississippi River valley making the trees sway and all the dry leaves on the ground rattle. The mom is seen leaving the nest for a few minutes and returning with some grass to keep the nest fresh. The adult male was in the area but is only briefly visible as a blur in the background as he soars past.
