Why are video game prices going up?
The truth is that video games are actually cheaper now than they were back in the 1990s or the 2000s
In the 1990s a video game would cost $40 to $50 for the super nintendo
With inflation and comparing prices from back then to now the right price for a video game would be about $80 dollars.
People will only pay $70 for a game they are really excited about, AKA, a well established IP like Harry Potter's Hogwarts Legacy.
