The Roman Catholic Church has been at the heart of the modern ecumenical movement since its Second Vatican Council in the 60s. But the recent decision by this priest to allow a Muslim call to prayer during a Mass in Mayo is a clear demonstration of the Catholic Church’s continued rejection of fundamental doctrines, such as the exclusivity of Christ and salvation by grace alone through faith alone.
