Dude, you can say the moon stuff is fake and earth is not a globe, but saying the radio waves can't go through space because there's no medium is not true. The medium IS space. SOUND is a vibration of particles, you can't have sound in space. It's called a vacuum because there's virtually no particles. Electromagnetic radiation like light and radio waves travel through space and interact with particles. They'll continue travelling until they hit something. If an object is in space, the sun side will be very bright and hot because it is directly absorbing the radiation, but the dark side will be very cold. If your skin was exposed in space you would get both frozen and sunburnt at the same time (yeah weird). The reason radio waves are used as opposed to other EM waves is because the nitrogen and stuff in our atmosphere is really bad at absorbing it. It goes right through like light through a window. I'm not an expert. Please ask me questions if you don't understand. PS: the official explanation for the camera tilting up is a dude on earth had a little joystick to control the camera and had to time it right with the 1 second delay or whatever and he's proud that he got it right. I dunno.
