Since then, the movement has gained momentum, with many experts and organizations discussing the ethical and societal implications of this emerging field.
One of the key goals of transhumanism is to achieve a state known as “posthumanity,” where humans have surpassed their current biological limitations through the use of technology. This includes the use of bionic implants, genetic engineering, and artificial intelligence. According to transhumanist researcher and author Martine Rothblatt, the posthuman future will be “a world of superintelligent and superhealthy individuals who work together to eliminate disease, poverty, and other sources of human suffering.”
