I can't escape this valley! - The long dark (Nomad) - Ep 2

I have my first area conquered! Now we have to explore the valley and find the way out and into other zones. The problem is I can't find my way out! Everywhere I go seems to loop back on itself. Overweight and tired I find myself in a field in the the middle of no where. Where to go now? Oh and I'm still unarmed...
