Rise Up! Fast- A Two-Way Street

Welcome to Rise Up!

Today's episode is part 12 of a mini-series entitled "Release of the Foreign Marriages." It began with being called to a forty day fast and bringing our relationships into alignment, starting with our covenant with God. Next we looked at (part 2) “Delighting in the Lord,” and we continued with the “Fast- Destroying Sexual Altars” (part 3) and prayed through to deal with those once and for all. Part 4 of the “Fast- Building Honor” helped us to establish the right altars in the place of the ones destroyed- it’s important to have that balance of building up honor in our relationship with God and one another.

Part 5, “Fast – Restoration of Obedience” continues in the Lord’s direction of tearing down things that should not be in our lives, and building up what should be- and the solid way to do this is through obedience to Him. Obedience is vitally important! Whether delighting in the Lord, honoring our relationship with Him, obedience is the firm foundation that keeps it all going! Part 6 dealt with “Fast- The Refiner’s Fire.” Part of the building up is being IN the Refiner’s Fire KNOWING that He is making all things new!

Next we moved into Part 7, “Fast- NEW is Powerful" followed by Part 8 which challenged us to ask ourselves if we are truly allowing God to do His work in us, or if we are short-changing ourselves and “Settling for Stew”? And in Part 8, the cleansing continued with "Redeemed For Love." We learned that despite the hurts of past relationships, that the Lord has redeemed us to be in right relationships with Him and those around us.

We also looked at a secondary fast from "Redeemed for Love" in Isaiah 52 and in Part 11, Heart Condition of the Land, we studied several verses in Jeremiah 14. It's a difficult chapter about God's judgement on His people.

We continue today in Part 12, with " A Two-Way Street," we are looking at our relationship with God, how He speaks to us, and how to look at the judgements from God. If we have turned away from God, and have wandered off from Him, what do we need to do to right that, rather than choosing decisions that bring consequences? There is HOPE! It is your CHOICE!
