SGN is live from Tel Aviv on Thursday, March 16, for a demonstration against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s administration and its planned judicial reforms.

The protest organisers called for another 'day of resistance to the dictatorship', claiming that hundreds of disruptions and demonstrations will take place across the country.

"This is the last chance for the Israeli government to stop, shelve the legislation and fortify democracy", their statement read.

On the same day in Berlin, hundreds are set to protest against Netanyahu’s visit to Germany and the judicial reforms.

Israel has seen weekly protests following Netanyahu’s return to power and the announcement of new legislation by Justice Minister Yariv Levin, which would give members of parliament greater powers over the Supreme Court and judicial appointments. The government says the changes are needed to balance the branches of power.
