The Two Teams That Chelsea Must Avoid In The Champions League Quarter Finals in The Champions League

Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson believes Chelsea will reach the Champions League semi-finals if they avoid Manchester City and Bayern Munich in the next round.

Following recent performances, Merson says he is confident that Graham Potter‘s side can progress further in the competition as long as they are not drawn against the two tournament favourites:

“If the Champions League quarter-final draw goes their way, Man City and Bayern Munich, I don’t think too many teams will want to play Chelsea. If they don’t meet those two then I think they’ll get through to the semi-finals.”
