Plastic water bottle industry booming, sales expected to double by 2030

The plastic water bottle industry has grown expansively, with one million water bottles sold per minute. The UN reports the 350 billion liters of bottled water sold in 2021 will create about 25 million tons of plastic waste in landfills.
