Today is Wednesday of what Catholics such as myself refer to as holy week; the week leading up to the commemoration of the crucifixion and death of our lord Jesus Christ and his resurrection on the following Sunday. So, I thought it would be a good opportunity to take a look at one of the most famous trials in history; the trial of Jesus Christ before the roman procurer Pontius Pilate.
