👋 Today, I’m discussing augmented reality explained easy and how augmented reality works technically. Augmented Reality is a live, direct or indirect, view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are augmented by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data. AR can be used to create new digital objects in the real world. It is possible that with these three dimensional digital objects people will be able to interact in new ways with their surroundings and other people around them.

A type of technology that uses computer graphics to enhance what you see in the world, augmented reality is a combination of computers and reality, where digital information is overlaid onto the real world. AR was first developed in the 1990s, but it's only become main stream recently with the advent of smartphones and tablets. It can be used to make videos more immersive, provide directions without looking at an electronic device, or to replace traditional monitors with information about what you are seeing around you.

Augmented reality is a technology that overlays digital objects on top of the real world. It augments the user's perception of reality and enhances one's experience with information or entertainment by mixing digital content with an individual's direct view of the real world. Augmented reality is achieved through wearable devices like Google glass, which can overlay data onto what you see, or through smartphone apps that you can use to augment your surroundings in various ways. It has many use cases - it can be used for marketing purposes, education purposes, and it can even be used for social applications like playing games with friends or for dating purposes.

Augmented reality (AR) is the augmentation of what we see in our physical world, like adding virtual objects to it. Virtual Reality (VR) replaces what we see in the physical world with computer-generated environments that can be interacted with. Platforms like Google Cardboard, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive are some of the most popular VR devices.

Augmented Reality has many applications in industries like education, gaming, healthcare and retail.
