The Walt Disney company has been knowing for taking classic children's tales and adapting the the animated screen for generations. Well after a long and successful career of doing that Disney has decided to re-hash their old stories by turning them into live action remakes. This has been to mixed fan reception at best and some minor success at the box office. Well in the latest of a long line of remakes, The Little Mermaid live action trailer was dropped on Sunday during the Oscars and needless to say the fan reception has been less than stellar. The latest trailer after less than a week of being out has no gotten ratioed to oblivion. The dislike counts far exceeding the likes with comments to back it up. What are the fans saying?
