This started life as a pure hard rock metal song. I have been wanting to do another pure rap song since Dance Floor. I thought that the beat and the instrumental melody lines L9ve in this song were more conducive to a rap than a sung melody.
Song is about coming together and supporting each other as communities rather than fighting against each other and inflicting crime one each other.
The word Chinthe used in the lyrics s a natural but stylized lion used in statues or bass relief in South East Asia. As I live in Malaysia I thought I would drop that word in there.
Equipment used:
MPC Live 2
Ltd 254 Bass
Ibanez RGT1020PB
Sennheiser e835s Mic
All production , mixing and mastering done on the MPC Live 2.
