RAF Scampton / Dambuster HQ to house 1500 Illegal migrants with a population of 1274

With the announcement of a public meeting regarding the housing of 1,500 illegal migrants at RAF Scampton which has a population of 1,274 including 371 under the age of 19 we decided to pay a visit to show that the people have have had enough and we should house our homeless and veterans first.

The former RAF installation, with a history of more than 100 years and would shut down at the end of 2022, has been at the centre of government efforts to calm growing concerns regarding the number of migrants who arrive on British soil.

MPs and local authorities have criticised the Home Office's plans to use RAF Scampton as a temporary site for asylum seekers while their applications are processed. They claim that West Lindsey District Council was not informed of the plan.
