Right-wing author Bethany Mandel was promoting her book about "wokeness" indoctrination in schools on The Hill TV's Rising and repeatedly used the word to describe the phenomena she was referring to. The entire interview, however, came to a screeching halt when Rising's Briahna Joy Gray asked her to simply define "woke."
