Freedom Isn't Free

"Freedom isn't free. I know that's something that's very cliche, and we hear it, we sing it, we pray it, we say it, we write it. It's everywhere around us. Bumper stickers, whatever. But it's true, and I want to talk about some different experiences over the past several weeks in the past month. That have led me to want to shoot this video.Show more

One, our Coast Guard case. You've seen it on our social media. The United States government thinks so little of our servicemen and women, they believe that that case is moot. We've defined that through our Instagram page. Moot means it's no longer an issue, the United States government believes.
That the fact that several of its Coast Guard members and I'm only speaking to Coast Guard because that's who we're representing and I'm sure they feel this way about other services. That those who were separated even in the winter from Old Kodiak, Alaska to have to then travel down to the lower 48 to wherever they ended up. That that sacrifice didn't matter case is moot. The National Defense Authorization Act allows these people back in, but that's not true either.
