Bees Preparing To Swarm

Here are bees prepairing to swarm out of our decorator garden hive. Approximately 50% of the bees will leave. They will seek out a resting place to regroup for a couple days, like your eves, a tree brach, fence post...then they will all fly to their final destination that the scout bees have picked out. Who goes and who stays in the original hive? Nobody knows...maybe they have a lottery system.
