Actor Rob Lowe made a name for himself throughout Hollywood in the 1980s before becoming one of television’s biggest stars on hit series like “The West Wing” and “Parks and Recreation” over the course of the next two decades. But just as remarkable as that indelible run is the fact that throughout almost all of it, Rob primarily lived in only one home – a California ocean-view property that he and his wife, Sheryl Berkoff, spent four years building and the next two decades living in. Rob and Sheryl purchased their sprawling Cape Cod style estate located in the celeb-packed town of Montecito in 1994 for just $2.2 Million. After making an absolute killing on the sale of their longtime home, Rob and Sheryl plunked down a comparatively small, but by no means tiny, $3.75 Million on a much more contemporary home nestled into one of the ritzy canyons located above Beverly Hills. In fact, the Lowes desired this recently renovated 1950s home so badly that they even went about $500K over the asking price.
