LEADERS TRUST THOSE WHO EARN IT NOT THOSE WHO DEMAND IT

“Leaders know the art of projection is a result of the nature of flawed humanity. When we know ourselves to be untrustworthy, we have an issue with trusting others. When a leader feels the need to remind you often that you can, should, must trust them, it is often because they feel like they have something to hide. It can also be they don’t trust you at all and subconsciously they desire to build trust by expressing trustworthiness - almost a form of positive reinforcement as an affirmation. Either way, the consistent need to verbalize trustworthiness should be over shadowed by acts of true integrity. A leader who keeps their word, honors their promises, lives what they proclaim will build trust.” J Loren Norris
