The driver ran away but was caught by DeLand Police Department officers in front of a nearby apartment complex in Volusia County, in the US state of Florida, on 2nd February.

Deputies found a significant amount of illegal drugs in the vehicle, including about 57 grammes of fentanyl, 47 grammes of powder cocaine, 4 grammes of crack cocaine, and 3 grammes of MDMA - as well as marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

He was also arrested on several open warrants for various charges, including child abuse, felony battery, criminal mischief, resisting, and driving with a suspended license.

One person in the vehicle Bletcher crashed into was hospitalised for treatment of injuries.

Bletcher is currently in the Volusia County Branch Jail without bond on his felony failure to appear charges, and with a USD 782,500 (GBP 571,951) bond on his various other charges.
