So in the world of anime there are two versions of an anime

the TV version that usually is broadcasted on national television and on streaming services such as Netflix right. This is the censored version for the public

and then there is the uncensored version which is sold on DVD and blue ray disc. People spend money on this version and get an even better more raw experience of the anime

However, it looks like this is also at risk of being lost thanks to Japan buying into western idealogies.

An anime called Beast Tamer has been investigated to be censored on both TV and blue ray DVD version
